Today's post is dedicated to the perfect purple lipstick. I own many and decided to do a mini review on a few.

YSL-Rouge Volupte #12 Forbidden Burgundy- Highly pigmented, creamy and long lasting. The only issue is the price *cad$39.00!
Urban Decay- Shame - Great pigmentation and very hydrating ( less creamy than the YSL rouge volupte). No need to apply a lip balm before.
Urban Decay-Venom- Same as Shame.
Cover Girl Blast FlipStick #815 Flashy- Two lipsticks in one! A very bright purple and a lighter pinkish purple colour. Perfect for trying an ombre lip. Line lips with a purple lip pencil ( darker or similar shade as lipstick), pat the darker lip colour around the lips excluding the center on top and bottom. Add the lighter colour to the center, then blend with your fingers.
Cover Girl Lip Perfection #308 Ravish- Great pigmentation, hydrating and awesome colour payoff.
Cover Girl Lip Perfection # 360 Euphoria- Same as Ravish
