Altuzarra for Target

I was sipping on my coffee, early Monday morning going through my Instagram feeds,
still in my pj's. I was not planning on going anywhere that day until...I stumbled on these fab booties.

It was love at first sight! I mean how could I resist?! I had to get my hands on these! No doubt about it! I was not crazy about the entire collection, I was more interested in the footwear selection more than anything else. After visiting a local Target near home, I was not lucky enough to find my size, 2 sizes left and neither of them were the right one. That's when my quest began. I mean I had to have them. It was a fall fashion must. After calling several Targets, 1 of them (thank goodness) had my size!! I am usually a size 8 but I took an 81/2 cause I found they run a tad small. I drove across the city for these babies 24 hours after the collection launched and I was still able to get my hands on them. I guess it was meant to be, they are worth every mile!!

Loving the bob cut

We are proud to say that we are fierce supporters of the bob cut that is currently trending.
From blonde, brunette to redheads, from straight to wavy, with or without bangs it goes without saying that it is the hottest hair of the moment.

Just to name a few Taylor Swift, Rita Ora, Nicole Richie, Emma Stone and let’s not forget the cream of the crop:  Giuliana Rancic.

Our fave of the moment would be Jourdan Dunn who recently joined the rest of us with her new do.
Are you ready to take the cut if you haven’t already?
Check below for a some hair inspirations.

XO,
A.

Vichy NormaDerm Night Detox

As a acne sufferer for the last ten years or so, I've been searching for the perfect skin care routine.
I read a few beauty blog reviews on a new Vichy product "Night Detox" from the Normaderm line and decided to give it a try.

This product is a night treatment designed to target skin which produces too much sebum. The cream is very lightweight, oil-free and suitable for sensitive skin. It claims to tighten pores, even out skin texture, reduce imperfections and purify the skin.

My skin is combination so I only apply a small amount to my chin and maybe a little on my forehead. I've been using this product for about a week now and have noticed less breakouts. If your looking for a night product to help with oily/acne prone skin 'Night Detox" is defiantly worth a go.

Avialble in Canada at Shoppers Drug Mart/Pharmaprix and Jean Coutu

Look du jour: printed pants

When I got up today I had one word in mind when I put on my outfit : comfort.
Printed pants are a staple item in any women's closet, for me the best way to pair 'em is with a simple top.

With Summer coming to an end, we only have a few more weeks left to enjoy.
So let's bring out those lighter printed tops and pants before we put 'em away to trade 'em for our Fall knits and plaids.

Check out below for today's outfit details and some style inspiration.

Bite Beauty Lip Lab

Last weekend Bite Beauty had a pop up Lip Lab event at Sephora ( 677 Sainte-Catherine St.W), Montreal.

The lip lab event allows you to create your very own custom lipstick.  You pick two colors already in the Bite Beauty Line and the desired color ratio.  Then you choose a finish, either matte, luminous or sheer. The final step is to select your lipsticks scent. There was eight scents to choose from; violet, wild berry, cherry, rose, vanilla, mint, mango and citrus mango.

The two colors and scented oil is then heated, blended and poured into a metal form to freeze into a lipstick bullet shape. The process takes about 7 minutes.

I chose an orange-red, matte finish with a violet scent.

Bite Beauty is a Canadian company from Toronto making lip products that are food-grade quality and containing good for you ingredients like the antioxidant resveratrol (found in wine), organic fruit butters and Manuka honey.

You can find the main product line at Sephora and if your in NYC pass by the brick and mortar Lip Lab for your own custom lippy!

P.S One of the Bite employees mentioned a permanent lip lab might open at a Sephora in San Francisco next year!

P.P.S I received a sample of the Lush Lip Wipes but haven't tried it yet.  As per Bite's website the wipes remove color, replenish and mattify.
